DUX Group LLC · Version 1.0 · Effective 08.20.2026

People listen to RoadReel while operating a vehicle. That raises the bar on two things in particular: don't publish anything designed to shock or alarm a driver, and don't tell people to do dangerous things on the road.

The short version

Publish audio you made or have the right to use. Don't publish anything illegal, hateful, or designed to hurt someone. Remember your listener is driving.

Don't publish

Anything that endangers a driver

Content you don't have the rights to

Content that harms people

Content that deceives

Things we allow that you might not expect

Strong opinions are fine. Being wrong is fine. Swearing is fine. Comedy that some people won't like is fine. Criticising a company, a product, or a public figure is fine.

The line isn't whether a reel is agreeable — it's whether it's unlawful, whether it targets someone, or whether it's dangerous to hear at 65 miles an hour.

If you use AI

You can use AI tools to help make audio. You can't use them to clone someone's voice without permission, to impersonate a real person, or to fabricate events and present them as real.

Reporting

Tap Report under any playing reel. Pick a reason and send it. You can also block the creator from the same screen.

Reports are reviewed, and a reel reported by several different people is automatically withheld from the feed while we look at it. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

Reporting in bad faith — to bury a creator you disagree with — is itself a violation.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

Depending on what happened and whether it's a pattern, we may:

Serious violations — anything involving minors, credible threats, or illegal content — result in immediate removal and account closure, with no warning first.

Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are closed, as described in section 9 of the Terms of Service.

If we get it wrong

If your reel was removed and you think that was a mistake, email support@roadreel.app with the reel title and what you think happened. A person will look at it.

These guidelines will change

RoadReel is new, and we'll find situations these rules don't cover. When that happens we'll update this page rather than pretend the rule was always here. Material changes get notice in the app.
